This Ain't A Scene, It's An Arms Race

Yes, I finally fulfilled my dream and got a scene kid haircut. Tell me, you like it? My head feels about a pound lighter! I can't wait 'til it grows out and then we can really rock. ;) The stylist had it looking perfect a couple hours ago, but I've already being having fun with it, messing it up and what not. 

And, by the way, a few new pieces. I can, AT LAST, wear shorts and not freeze. I know it's been warm for a couple months now, but I just can't take the least chill. Even when I got out to eat or go shopping, I wear jeans and take a jacket.

Salut les filles! I have a few new things added to my wardrobe. I'll get around to showing them one at a time, I suppose. But for today, rawr, you like my new tiger shirt? And my suspenders. Those dang things really do their job! I kept having to push my pants down so they wouldn't be up under my arms. Haha.  I was about to decide on a red pair or checkered, but my friend, Danny, pointed these out--black with pin stripes. I couldn't decide which shoes I liked best with the whole ensemble, so I gave them all a try:

Cerises Et Fraises

So, this is the kind of stuff we've been getting for the past two weeks since Dad's been sick. Pardon moi, I took a cherry before I took the picture. *Grin*. So. Heavenly. They came all the way from San Diego, CA in a chilled package. The company is Shari's Berries. Look at all the fruity/chocolate wonder. Haha! I'm so excited. I've only ever gotten to eat these things at sayyy... Bobby Allison's 50th anniversary! Thank you to all the people who keep sending this amazing loot! For Dad, of course. ^_~

Back In Black

Dear Bloggers, I'm back--in black. I'm hoping I'll be able to get used to posting at least twice a week again. Maybe three times. I'm getting tired of being out of the loop. I've been thinking about starting another blog strictly about music and keeping this one for other things. I would probably update the music blog a LOT more than this one, though. I need some feedback on this idea. What do you think?

I'm feeling pretty hardcore today, hence the black polish. I figure there are several reasons for this change of pace: a) I've been getting lazy and resorting to my default style. Black, baby. b) It's raining outside today. That's always good for a little darkness in your wardrobe. c) I'm listening to Lecrae today. Ch-ch-check it out, ya'll.
