Summer sun, summer sun spilling into my room,
summer sun, summer sun are you leaving so soon?
Since June is long gone and July’s almost through,
Will August be shorter than either the two?

I’ve observed you’re less bright each day that you shine;
Summer seasons end slowly, but surely with time.
