Spoke Too Soon

Dear Readers,
I just wanted to apologize for my STILL lack of participation in blog-land. I said I was going to get back to posting and commenting, but, whadayaknow, here I am sitting in a hospital waiting room. My dad was admitted last Thursday with a collapsed lung and he's in surgery right now. As soon as this has been resolved, I'll be back! Thanks to my friends for all your support and prayers. <3

Rush

"Is it me or is everything spinning?
I'm wide awake, but I must be dreaming.
It's like you're some kind of drug.
Try to catch my breath & see if I'm still breathing.
Touch my heart to make sure it's beating.
It's like I'm falling in love."

Birthday Bash

Hello to all! I haven't posted in several days, because I have been busy with life and friends and the time just gets away from me. Plus my computer is running out of space for so many picture. Eek! I've got to do something about that.

In other news, yesterday (April 9th) was my 18th birthday! Yayyy! It was by far one of the best birthday's I've ever had. I didn't plan anything crazy, just had all the people I love around. It was a perfect day. My allergies didn't even bother me thanks to the rain from Thursday. :) And I have the best friends, I can't even tell you. I wish I had gotten more pictures. Anyways, I let them speak for themselves:
(Not ring around the rosie back there, but "Poison", or as we like to simply call it, "The Chair Game")
(Raymond. Haha, I told him to strike a pose, and that's exactly what he did.)
(Kelly & Landen. The girls who are forever closing their eyes in pictures. Haha.)
(Another favorite that we like to call "The Winking Game")
(And I love in this picture how Josh, in the white shirt, looks like Stephanie's guardian angel! Haha, she's so unaware)
(After it got cool and we went in the garage. Denisha, Lauren, & Kayla.)
(Rephael, Morgan, & Landen.)

And then, some candid photography with as many people as I could get around to. Some of them got a little blurry. I took the flash off so our party-logged faces wouldn't scare everybody. Haha.
(Will & Josh. ♥)
(Reph & Morgan. ♥)
(Kelly & Stephanie. Look how cute they are! ♥)
(Todd & Raymond. ♥)
(Adam. ♥)

And, of course, a little amateur cha cha for your entertainment.

Thanks everyone for an awsome birthday!
Will be posting all of the pretty things I received in a couple of days!

Post Easter

I've been seeing many posts of Easter outfits the past week(ish). I especially liked Starr Crow's. Love her whole blog, by the way. If you don't already follower her, you should!

And this was my outfit. I didn't have time to do the tedious adjusting to get all of my long legs in the shot, but just so you get idea, I wore the gladiator sandals from Saturday's post. As for this dress, I will tell you a little secret: the teeny tiny straps I had been using to hang it up with... I did not know they were actually the dress's straps! So, once I figured this out, I wore them that way and it made keeping the dress up a lot easier. I thought they were just to hang it up by! Haha, you didn't hear it from me!

Rollin' Downtown

It's been a long day and I am so tired, but I couldn't pass up getting on with posting these pictures. Denisha and I spent the afternoon at the mall shopping for prom dresses (along with like every other girl in the state!). I decided to go with the same one I wore last year since I'm going to a different school this time. Who's to know? Hehe. I ended up splurging on a pair of long awaited Ray Ban Wayfarers. I am super excited. AH! I got the newly released spring collectors editions. (Sizzle). And Denisha bought me a cute top for my upcoming birthday. I'll be posting some new pieces soon.

Back to the point, we went downtown afterwards where they were having a car show. Vintage! It's usually a packed event, but seeing how it's Easter weekend and all... We bummed around a while, but my allergies were killing me, so we had to split. Good times, though.

J-J-Japanese

Taking advantage of the gorgeous April weather, downtown was hoppin' at lunch this afternoon where I had some taste Japanese food at the new joint on Main Street. It was outside and for a moment I truly felt like I was in the city. . . (coming back to reality) I had a veggie wrap made with what appeared to be crepes. Slightly stirred fried veggies, tempura tofu (had a flavor faintly comparable to funnel cake), and a fancy sauce with cashews on top! Yum!

Oh, yes. Welcome to the jungle. And candid food-eating photography.
